Ready or Not is a upcoming first person shooter being adult by Void Interactive that places the player in the role of leader of a SWAT Team in a "Nondescript Modern America". It has a focus on the singleplayer and coop campaign but is also planned to feature a PVP multiplayer side with an alternate story and game modes. Information technology is considered a spiritual successor to SWAT 4 and original Rainbow Six games.

In 2020, a closed alpha version featuring PVP gameplay was released to the game'due south backers. In 2021, the game became listed on Steam, and a public Early on Access version was released, featuring only singleplayer and co-op modes.

Overview

In Ready or Not, the histrion's equipment and weapons are called at a pre-mission startup. The thespian can carry two firearms, ii tactical devices, and multiple grenades. Similar to other games, most notably SWAT 4, the primary weapon slot is reserved for long guns such as rifles, submachine guns, and shotguns, but besides pepper brawl guns. The secondary slot is reserved for handguns and tasers.

Almost firearms that appear have multiple different combination of attachments. They can accept either full metallic jacket or hollow point ammunition. Firearms in game have knock-off names to avoid copyright conflicts and some of the in game attachments have slight modifications from their real life counterparts to avoid licensing issues also.

Beretta 92X Functioning

The Beretta 92X Performance appears in Prepare or Non nether the proper noun "P92X". It was added in the January 2022 update, and replaced the Beretta 92FS (see talk page). Heckler and Koch UMP45

SIG-Sauer MPX

The SIG-Sauer MPX appears in Ready or Not, as the last of the current selectable SMGs in-game, besides as a suspect weapon. Faster reload than the MP5, a little bit smaller but a lot faster, the MPX is a strong piece in the correct hands.

Grenades

Grenades in Ready or Not have up their own individual slots in the player character's inventory. They can exist held in the player'southward hands until deployment and can be thrown underhanded or overhanded.
